Her blog I’ve been following for a while when she wrote, the nex city she will visit is Budapest. As I live just a couple kilometers off from Budapest I wrote her, that if she have a bit of free time, Szentendre is the city to visit.

Stephanie arrived on a snowy cold day. We first went to my studio, where we were talking as we werw friends for years. Later we went for a snowfall walk in downtown Szentendre, I showed her thecity and my favourite gallery, the Erdész Gallery. We had a great time!

I start every year with a wish. I write it in my blog. These wishes always come true by the last day of the year. It was the same in 2011. I wish to have a studio at home in our attic. I grew out the old one.

I wanted to work from home to save time, gas and traffic stress. I think my kids are too small for me working at an other location. I like it this way.

2011 started with the design process. I did my degree in architecture and my best friend still works as an architect. first I collected several inspiration photos and talked a lot about the glass fusing process. We did the planning part together. I love the way she works. The construction took place in the summer, when wee mooved out and renowated the rest of the house. Mooving was no fun at all. I had to think about my new studio ever day to hanle the mooving.

The bold.color.glass brand ha two major colors. White and pink. We used these two colors for my studio. I need lots of white. This makes spaces big and light. I have been collecting pink things for the new studio for a year. Like these ikea bins. We put the orders being processed in these little bins.

I als collected retro stuff, like theese selving. 30 years ago you could find these selving consols in every single appartment. Nowdays retro lovers use them like me. I added a little twist by painting them pink. The first aid cabintet was from the local ebay. It must have been a WWII. thing. I painted them too! The clock was a present from my Hubby, who handled really well the whole mooving, construction and ect.mess. Thanks a lot!

I love to wear cool sets. I love to think about my outfits. ilove to mix and match my clothes.I have really basic clothes. Few of them has patterns. When I buy new pieces I always think about three othe piece in my wardrobe I can wear it with.

I use scarves and big bold jewelry to add a little accent, a little spice to it.

It was the autumn 2010. When i finally bought it from a nice man. It belonged to his parents, who receieved it in the 30′s shortly after they got married. The man was sad when I took the cupboard. I assured him, that I will take a good care of it.

For a couple months I left my new cupboard in a warehouse. This summer when I started wotking on it. I took it apart: removed the doors, selves and the hinges. Some parts were covered with some strong and strongly glued laminated plastic. When it was all purged, I started to buff the surface. I have been doing it for days. I was fully covered with dust.

Later on I called Kata from Kicsi Ház for some painting advice. She recommended to prime and then paint and warned me to buy really good quality brush! When I started to paint it, the builders were aroung building my new studio in the attic. This helped a lot. First the laughed at me, but later on they gave advice and helped. I worked hard but I could not manage to finish before fall.

Couple of weeks ago decided to finish it as soon as possible. I bought some new hinges and had them painted pink. Ordered some pink tassels for thre keys. One day Eszter, my assistant and me started to put it together.

Now it is done and pretty. The new life of an old cupboard is just started!

No.1. I really do like big fat rings. They are my signature line. But sometimes I feel different I feel like designing something totally different.

No.2. I always loved to have a silver collection. That is better, that is cooler than my basic one. Just a tiny bit more pathetic than my other jeweries.

These were my major thoughts last year when I designed these new modern rings. Something silver, something affordable, something flexible. To make it flexible I made them so small, that you hardly feel you have rings on! You can wear them as stackinkg rings. I usually wear three of them, that looks really cool.

They are called FRAGIL!

I’ve choosen this name, since they are so small and delicate. DelicaFracy and fragility are both very feminine characters. Bold colors make them happy and cute. I love to play with the colors. Today I have blask and white just like my outfit. Other days I choose coral with some turquoise and plum. One, two, or three, doesn’t matter, I LOVE them.
