Glutenfree Chocolate Gugelhupf

 

I don’t know why, but recently I’ve been hooked on gugelhupf.

My daughter is gluten sensitive, that we recognize not as a sickness, and definitely not as a tragedy, but rather as a gift. If this is the biggest problem that my kids are faced with in life, so be it. I’ll accept it, and be happy that there are no bigger problems. This is what I teach my girls as well. My Glutenfree Apricot Dumpling Recipe

I promise I won’t become a gastroblogger, but this is a personal recipe that I experimented on for days for my gluten sensitive daughter. This version was so successful, that no one can tell that it’s not made of real flour unless I tell them. The difference lies in the ingredients and preparation. I’ve been making peach dumplings for years based on Fuszeres Eszter’s recipe, so this is where I started out. In my experience it’s not enough to substitute regular flour with gluten-free flour, because we end up with a dry, falling apart something — definitely not dumplings! I Thought I Knew How to Cook!

I love to cook. I’m a solid cook and baker, as my family and guests tell me. I’m really proud that experienced guests also compliment my food, who have ate across half of the world, at some pretty good restaurants. So I’m pretty proud of myself…Or I was. I never thought I had to go to a cooking course. But then as it happened, one of my children is gluten sensitive and I got scared about what I was going to cook?! Google immediately showed me the way. in the past two years I’ve cooked and baked quite a few times at the Miele Cooking School. These lessons helped me a lot in helping me better my daughter’s gastronomic world, and give her the chance to enjoy a full life while continuing to put bread, hamburger, or challah on the table. The Most Delicious Homemade Vitamin Boost

Green monsters, power-ups, lean mean green machine…Whatever you call them these smoothies are an energy bomb. The tell tale color comes from the main ingredient in the mix, 40% of the cocktail is spinach, or kale if it’s available. The rest of it is made up of fruit and a bit of liquid. Then we blend the elements together for a green drink.
